If you know anything about me, you know I like to keep everything in writing.

Not only do I not have the best hearing on the planet, but I have an even worse memory. I’m consistently doubting myself and double-checking my facts… so I prefer that 99% of my correspondence be in writing.

When we were planning our trip to Disneyland Paris, I seriously planned on just winging it. I didn’t have any real “must do’s” over there – since I hadn’t done ANYTHING. So when I discovered that the only way to make Advance Dining Reservations was over the phone… I was out.

That sounds extreme, I know, but the number one piece of advice I had received about visiting Disneyland Paris was to have very low expectations when it comes to food. Because of this, I didn’t want to waste time/energy/money in putting together some crazy intricate dining plan that would just leave us disappointed in the end!

The closer we got to our trip, the more and more I thought about the one restaurant I wanted to try… Bistro Chez Remy. I didn’t even really care much about the food… I just wanted the atmosphere!

So, I started to do a little research.

Guys, you CAN reserve your dining online. This is a new thing. and it’s a little tricky… but hang in there with me.

How to Book Your Disneyland Paris Dining Reservations Online

Visit the Restaurant’s Website

COPY AND PASTE the link for the restaurant of your choice into your browser. That is important. I’ve had the most success using google incognito mode…

If it’s your first attempt to access the website, you’ll need to choose your country/region… this will then default back to the Disneyland Paris homepage, and you’ll need to copy and paste that link a second time into your browser.

Check out the Restaurant

Look over the info for the restaurant – just like the restaurant pages for Disney World and Disneyland, they’ll have a bit of info for the restaurant, including the menu!

I spent a lot of time looking at the menus, especially the pricing, to figure out where we would enjoy eating.

Make Your Reservation Online

Select the date you want to dine, enter the party mix, and click “search times” … and then the availability will show! They will either let you know that they do not have any available times, or a dropdown will appear where you can select one of the available reservations.

Once you’ve selected a date and time for your group, you can complete your booking with your name, birthday, email, and phone number. You can also add special requests and comments!

Confirm Your Reservation Online

Once you submit the information, you’ll be taken to a confirmation page THAT WILL HAVE THE WRONG DATE ON IT. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but every reservation I made, the confirmation page gave me the date before the actual reservation.

The date on the email confirmation I received was correct… it’s just the confirmation page. I wouldn’t worry about it – but definitely know that could happen! When we were there, everything was booked correctly, but man, that confirmation page threw me off.

SAVE THIS EMAIL. Flag it, file it, but definitely do not delete it. It’s the only way to cancel your reservation if your plans change!

Canceling Your Reservation Online

In the event you need to cancel a reservation (like, if you book a dinner in the middle of the 5K race because you forgot it’s at night not at 5 in the morning, don’t ask how I know that)… then you’ll use this email to cancel the reservation.

Just click the button and you’ll be taken to a confirmation page (that will have the correct date on it)… and click cancel! I needed to use incognito mode again to make this work, so there was the extra step of clicking the link, copying the URL, and pasting it into an incognito browser.

…… you can probably do all of that super easily over the phone if you’re into that thing. But I like emails, and confirmations, and looking at ALL my options before booking. That would be a very expensive phone call!

I hope this is helpful! When we were visiting, we ate at Captain Jacks and Bistrot Chez Remy. Both of those are sit down restaurants where you order off of the menu, we didn’t get a chance to try any of the character dinners or buffets… just a great reason to go back soon! On my bucket list for next time… Walt’s (it was closed while we were visiting!) and Inventions!

One last note – please remember that this service is a trial and may be withdrawn at any time.
