I can’t believe it’s October.

First, it’s my birthday month.

Second, Wine & Dine Expo opens THIS MONTH!! AAHH!!!

I have teamed up with Meghan and Patty for a fun little Instagram game… #30DaysOfRunDisney – if you’re on Instagram then I’d love for you to play along! I will be posting the list on my stories each morning, and you’ll be able to see that day’s theme on my post. You can also head over to the blog at any time for the complete list and to see what’s been posted so far!

Today is day two… your favorite Epcot moment… and mine is a doozy…

Right now things are going pretty well getting those runDisney Paris packages booked and confirmed. We can quote full packages with race registration confirmed and included for the 2020 Disneyland Paris Princess Race Weekend as well as the 2020 Disneyland Paris 5th Anniversary Half Marathon Weekend.

If you have any interest in either of those – head on over and check out our package info and request a quote – seriously, the packages aren’t as crazy as you think they’d be!

This weekend I will be heading back to Walt Disney World with some of our friends visiting from Texas… it’s sure to be a really, really fun time. We’ve got a first-timer on our hands!!

I hope you’re having a great week, everyone!

Disney News

They recently made some announcements to on-site stroller/ECV rentals and deliveries… and if you like to rent your stroller when you get to Walt Disney World – listen up! Scooterbug is the only company that is still allowed to deliver to the concierge at your resort without you needing to be there. Any reservation made after October 1st with any other provider, you will need to meet with the company yourself to get your stroller.

Last week, Good Morning America gave us a sneak peek at the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction… and it’s SO COOL. Check out the video on GMA’s Twitter account if you’d like to see! Jury is still out on if I’ll be first in line like I was for the opening of Galaxy’s Edge…

Also, if you have $600 burning a hole in your pocket, go pick up the new pair of Minnie Mouse Ears that debut last week. Heidi Klum designed this pair full of Swarovski crystals… I’m dying to see someone actually wearing these when we head to the parks this weekend. I’m on the hunt!!

Did you get a chance to say goodbye to IllumiNations? Y’all, I’m not sad about this. It definitely wasn’t my favorite and I am SO excited about what is to come… last night Epcot debut ‘Epcot Forever’ – and I purposefully have avoided listening to any music or watching any video because we are going on Friday and I want to be surprised!!! You can check out Everything new at Epcot on the Park & Preston Blog!

Last, but certainly not least, Disney released a cool little video this week highlighting some of the announcements made earlier this year at D23 – there’s just SO much going on, it’s hard to remember everything! If you want to get excited – then hop over to YouTube and check out this video

Wine & Dine Runners! On Friday, runDisney sent out an informational email with important things to know about your race weekend. If you’re running the half, your Post-Race Party Ticket will be mailed to you at the mailing address provided in your runDisney account. There’s still time to get any additional tickets for your friends/family not running!

Now is a good time to go check your account in case you moved across the country after registering! Mailings will begin the week of October 14. Your $15 Disney Promo Card will be sent to the email address on file, as well. Those will be sent starting October 24th – and the gift card will expire on December 31st.

They also snuck in a link to the Digital Event Guide – but it’s not live quite yet. I keep checking. Ha!

Remember how I told you there were food and wine Magic Bands, and then they were gone? And then new ones came back, and then those were gone too? Well. These are still here. I think. These ones are extra special because they are ONLY for you Wine & Dine Runners! Check out how you can get your Limited Edition Exclusive runDisney Wine & Dine Magic Bands

Not to completely skip over all the fun races we have over the next few months… but if you’re ready for Summer 2020 (lol)… the runDisney Virtual Race Series Theme has been announced!! I didn’t think I was going to do it. Until this theme won. Now, I’m definitely in.

Travel Deals

Big News! Disney Cruise Line is returning to New Orleans! The Disney Wonder will return to the bayou from late January through February 2021 with a series of magical voyages. Starting tomorrow, Oct 3rd, all guests can book these sailings so please let me know if you’re interested!

Disney Visa Cardmembers – they’ve announced a cool promotion where you can save up to 40% at Disney’s Riviera Resort! I’m so excited for this resort to open – and these savings are pretty legit… it’s a great way to experience this new resort at a fraction of the cost.

Right now, like NOW, I can save you $300 on Hawaii Vacations through Southwest Vacations! We only have until October 3rd for this deal – so if you’ve been on the fence about booking your Hawaiian Getaway, nows the time.  Shoot me an email and we can get a package quote together!

On The Blog

This week has been nuts! I had a lot of fun on National Coffee Day and posted a ton of stuff talking COFFEE! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to get coffee from a magic machine in a hallway in Paris… that post is for you!

I also took a little bit of time to think about How to Celebrate your RunDisney Race this week. With Wine & Dine right around the corner… it’s time to start planning those post-race celebrations!! I would love to know how YOU celebrate your race!

Patty & Jane over at No Guilt Life have a really fun blog post up… they have created a Magic Kingdom Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt!! Head on over to her blog to check it out. There are tons of themed pumpkins all up and down Main Street, USA… can you find them all?

I’m so excited to be heading to Walt Disney World this weekend with some of my favorite Texans.  We’re getting to take our sweet friend for the very first time!  My kids are very excited…

See ya next week!
