Guys, Thanksgiving is next week. NEXT. WEEK.

This happens to me every year. January is like 1,000 days long and then all of a sudden it’s Christmas again. How does that even happen?! I’m getting pretty excited to host family here in Jacksonville – I’ll definitely be spending a little extra time away from my inbox next week!

I had such a great time last week at my Agent Education Program hosted by Disney – getting to peek into some of the amazing resort options is my favorite part. Be sure to go check out our story highlights at Heigh Ho Travel Co to take a look. Also, if anyone wants to go in on one of those cabins… I’m game. The pictures don’t do it justice. Those cabins are fantastic!

There’s lots of fun Disney news to chat about this week with a HUGE exciting announcement from runDisney. Well, they just snuck it in there like it’s no big deal but everyone is FLIPPING OUT, including me!

Hope everyone’s training is going well – Dopey starts in 50 DAYS.

Let’s not forget about “Heigh Ho Travel Co” … our new Instagram Account and Facebook Page dedicated 100% to runDisney!! Park and Preston Travel is so much more than just runDisney… Meghan and I wanted a place where we could all geek out on the thing we love most, so the Heigh Ho Travel Co was born.

Please “like”, “follow”, and play along!

… new this week?

I’ve missed a lot of little things I wanted to touch on… Morocco pavilion in Epcot has a new exhibit.  There are tons of new Photopass options available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party. Disney Springs just released their specials for Black Friday, and Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge is now offering breakfast!

But, speaking of Photopass… Photopass now has three different super zoom shots you can take. These are really fun and can be found at Magic Kingdom castle hub and two are at Galaxy’s Edge. You can read more about them here!  If you have any trouble finding the right spot, just ask any Cast Member in the area and they can point you in the right direction!

For the seventh year in a row, Disney Cruise Line has earned number one spots in the Best Cruise Lines for Families and Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean categories of the U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Cruise Line rankings! I have set some big goals for myself next year to help my clients experience this cruise line, so if you’re interested in looking into some options you know what to do!

A quick technology update… it’s become a pretty well-known fact that you are able to decline room service for your stay in exchange for a Disney Gift Card (amounts vary based on length of stay). Previously, you had to do this at the front desk… but now… you can do it from the APP! Has anyone tried it? I’m going to give it a shot on my next trip to see if it works…

The BIGGEST new piece of information I wanted to tell you about is that we are now able to book our clients into vacation cottages that will fit your entire family. Margaritaville Resort Orlando, located near Walt Disney World Resort, has cottages ranging in size from two to five bedrooms and offers many amenities, including daily housekeeping, full kitchens, washers and dryers, pet-friendly accommodations and, in some instances, private pools. This is HUGE as I know a lot of you guys would love to stay in accommodations like these! I’m going to do a little bit more research before really selling the place – but if any of you are interested in trying this out with your larger group, please let me know!

Ok – Wine & Dine 2020.  Disney updated their website and here’s what we’re looking at:

That’s right… ladies, make sure to keep some room in your suitcase for your crinoline! All sophisticated attire is encouraged from vintage-inspired classics to chic, contemporary looks. Carnival Cruise Line has a new experience that I am really interested to try… Carnival Kitchen! Sailing on the newest ship, Carnival Panorama, you can put on your chef’s hat and engage in more than 15 onboard cooking classes showcasing a variety of international cuisines, led by no other than Carnival’s talented Chefs. Modern life doesn’t stop just because a blizzard comes. Sometimes driving in the snow is a necessary evil. If you are not used to driving in poor weather conditions, take note of the following three tips.

Two Words… DISNEY PLUS. Check out Disney’s top three ways to celebrate the launch of Disney+ at Disney Parks and in your own home! I haven’t had a chance to really dig in to the content yet – what’s your favorite so far?

I wasn’t quite sure where to put this, so I decided to stick it here! This Saturday, Nov 23, Disney parks and resorts around the world are joining together to celebrate Family Volunteer Day. There’s lots of fun to be had on both coasts, however, if you aren’t able to make it to Walt Disney World or Disneyland… you can still join in by sharing a photo or video of your family volunteering using #VolunteerTogether and tagging @DisneyParks!

You know I love my #ChildlessMillennials – this article was pretty cool to read! Millennials are increasingly choosing travel agents over booking engines… and I couldn’t be happier about it! I love that you guys are able to see our value. Big warm fuzzy hugs to my generation!

Travelers Today recently posted an article on the 4 Benefits of Traveling With Your Family – you know I am all over this!  My favorite part? The bonding. <3
