So much is going on right now, I don’t even really know where to start!

You guys already know that we are heading to Walt Disney World this weekend as a family to celebrate our 10th Anniversary! I can’t believe I have been married for ten years… where did the time go?

Be sure to follow me on Instagram because somehow I have convinced my husband to wear matching shirts…

You also know that once we get back from Orlando, we are turning right around and heading to PARIS!! Thank you so much for all the tips you guys sent me last week… I am feeling a lot better about these races and can’t wait to get there!

Speaking of Paris… be sure to read the runDisney section for some HUGE news I am feeling feelings about.

I also have a favor to ask – I am working hard to find the best way to serve you guys, and I know that you have more interests than Disney. Could you take a second to fill out this quick survey? I am putting together a game plan to continue my education and want to focus on what YOU want and where you want to go!

And now… on to the fun stuff!!

Disney News

Changes at Epcot. SO many changes at Epcot. I wanted to take a second to break them down for you guys just a bit so you can see what exactly to expect. Mostly because the response to my “drink as much Beverly as possible before it’s gone forever” Instagram Story received a LOT of feedback!!

Yes, Cool Zone is officially gone!!  However, two things about Beverly – First… did you know it was discontinued TEN YEARS AGO?  Seriously.  Second is a bit of good news, I have heard from a reliable source you’ll still be able to get Beverly at the Rooftop Beverage Bar at the Coca-Cola Store in Disney Springs.  I haven’t been myself to personally verify this – but it’s on my to-do list.

Speaking of changes, the tiers at Hollywood Studios for fast passes have changed.  The five Hollywood Studios FastPass Tier 1 attractions are now:

  • Slinky Dog Dash
  • Toy Story Mania
  • Alien Swirling Saucers
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster *new*
  • Tower of Terror *new*

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Tier system changes for each park as we continue to get new attractions…

Something pretty exciting in my world, since I have little kiddos, is the release of “I am Walt Disney” The 18th picture book in the New York Times bestselling series of biographies about heroes tells the story of Walt Disney, who made dreams come true…

Bringing it back to the parks, there is a new addition to our website I hope you find helpful… Resort Experience Guides!  Each month, Walt Disney World Resort releases “recreation calendars” for each resort on property. These showcase the many activities you can participate in when staying at your Walt Disney World Resort during your stay.  I have uploaded them all to the website, and promise to do my best to keep them up-to-date… I hope you find this useful!

Last but not least, I promised a PhotoPass Guide… and now I can deliver!  I just finished putting this together yesterday and hope you also find this valuable for your next trip!

There was a flurry of excitement surrounding the news about custom Magic Bands available for 2020 races!  Unfortunately – they didn’t release anything special for 2019 Wine & Dine… but I have some exciting news!  You can pre-order the special 2019 Food & Wine Festival Magic Band in advance when you go to customize your bands with your Wine & Dine Package!  I will warn you – inventory changes by the minute with these bands – so the sooner you place your order, the better!

We have seen the renderings, but now the ACTUAL medals are here, and they’re AWESOME!!  Check out Patty’s blog post for a more in-depth view of the 2020 Marathon Medals.  I think my favorite out of the bunch is the Goofy Challenge…

And now for the big news.  Disneyland Paris… Princess Race.  I have some mixed feelings on this because now it might be impossible for me to complete my goal of ALL runDisney races in 2020… but I can’t help but get excited thinking about another Princess race weekend!  We don’t know much about packages – yet – but if you want to get on the list for more information – just click HERE!

I posted a poll on Instagram yesterday about my feelings on these races – and to see which one I should do… and the results were like 51% to 49% and so it wasn’t helpful at all.  Jury is still out on what I’m going to do in 2020…

Travel Deals

We only have a few weeks left on the offer from Adventures By Disney… you can save up to $400 per person on select staterooms on most 2020 European River Cruises. I’m going to keep this one at the top of the list – let me know if you’d like more info!

Thinking about Epcot and the addition of the Mary Poppins stuff – seeing this tour really caught my eye.  Would you ve interested in a Marry Poppins Tour of London?!  I can add this tour to any package booked to London – would be awesome to add on when you head to Paris for one of the TWO race weekends…

The Chili Pepper Festival is back and taking place at El Dorado Royale from October 3rd to 5th. There are five marquis events, including a celebration of urban fare on the beach at sunset, a delicious exposition of the flavors of Baja California under the stars, and a champagne and mole gala in honor of the incredible work of Chef Federico López…

Now for some New Gems in the European Treasure Trove … We are thrilled to share some of our favorite new additions in the Czech Republic, England, France, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, and the Netherlands.  Book three consecutive nights or longer in one (or more!) of the new hotels and you can save $200 USD, just like that!  This same supplier also just announced some new properties in Japan if that’s on your bucket list!

The time has finally arrived for your vacation. You’re already picturing yourself lying on that white, sandy beach… But there are a few things you should still do before you goI Here are some things you should do before you go that you might not have thought about.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is open in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. And yes, we think it is out of this world! One of the experiences we had to check out: how to build a droid at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Droid Depot. Because we wanted a little buddy to tour Batuu with- and those droid backpacks are super cute too!

The East Coast is blessed with an abundance of amazing boating destinations. From tropical locales to quintessential seaport towns, it is easy to find a place to set your boat out into the open seas. Here are three of the hottest spots to consider for your next East Coast boating vacation.

Disney merchandise news (and snack news, lol) … from Briar Rose Pink, to Potion Purple, to Dapper Yellow, to… oh, you get it. Disney has finally caught on to the fact that fans want more than just another shade of pink. Make it blue, for once! Actually, make it aqua. Arendelle Aqua, to be exact.  Hitting stores in just a few days!, and hitting my pocketbook HARD.

The Dangers of Public Wi-Fi When Traveling… According to a new survey, 79% of public Wi-Fi users are taking a significant risk when choosing their Wi-Fi connection while traveling.  Check out this article to learn how to stay safe!

It’s not too early to start thinking about Holiday Travel… I mean, Halloween is already in full swing at Disney World and Disneyland!  Here’s a great article covering when to book and when to fly this holiday season!
